Our Philosophy

Over the years, Dr. Neitzel has come up with three core practice philosophies:

  1. Creating a comprehensive treatment plan that fits within a patient’s lifestyle. It is important to develop creative treatment plans that both the patient and Dr. Neitzel agree on to help the patient get better.
  2. Having a team approach to medicine. Dr. Neitzel wants to treat the underlying cause of a person’s foot pain, not just their foot symptoms. That is why it is such a benefit for Dr. Neitzel to be sharing office space with Kitsap General Surgery and the Olympic Plastic Surgery Center. It is why she keeps such a close communicative relationship with the Primary Care Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in the area–because medicine truly is a team sport and the patient is the cornerstone to that team. Having specialists available with extensive training in all different areas of the body offers patients the best treatment options possible. This treatment plan has to work for the patient.
  3. Valuing her patient’s time. Dr. Neitzel’s patients know that when they are a part of the Peninsula Podiatry practice, every effort is made to see patients at their scheduled appointment and make that time productive. And even after the appointment is over, Dr. Neitzel is still available to her patients via email to answer any additional questions.

Dr. Neitzel strives to provide a caring, thoughtful environment that enables you to make an educated decision regarding your foot and ankle treatment, which may include surgical or nonsurgical treatment options. As a patient, you can expect a thorough discussion and evaluation of any proposed treatment to ensure it offers the lasting results you desire while avoiding any undue risk of complications.

As a specialist focusing on foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, Dr. Neitzel is able to provide a unique combination of expertise, skill, and trustworthiness we think you will enjoy. She is so passionate about what she does and is excited to see the positive impact she has on peoples’ lives.
